That number is lower than the price of Xiaomi Redmi 5A in his native country, China, which is in the range of $96. Although relatively cheap, the specification of Redmi 5A is claimed to be the most qualified in its class.
By fixing the price of Redmi 5A at $74. Xiaomi positioned the device under other popular entry level devices on the market such as Samsung Galaxy J2 Prime and Oppo A37 in terms of sales.
However, according to Xiaomi, the specification of Redmi 5A is one step ahead of its competitors in its class.
Xiaomi also dare to claim this phone as "king of entry-level smartphone". The Xiaomi Redmi 5A specification series includes Snapdragon 425 processor which has four Cortex-A53 CPU core speeds of 1.4 Ghz and Adreno 308 GPU.
Moreover, the specification of Redmi 5A includes 2 GB RAM, 16 GB storage media, 3,000 mAh battery, and 13 megapixel camera and 5 megapixel camera.
